At Heathmont College we offer students studying German or Indonesian the opportunity to participate in an overseas cultural tour. These tours strengthen language skills and provide our students with a deeper understanding of the culture and people in other countries.

Each year we run a highly successful reciprocal exchange program with Kaufungen Integrated Grammar School in Germany. Our College community hosts students from the German exchange school and in turn Heathmont students are offered the opportunity to visit them in Germany.

Students studying Indonesian are offered the opportunity to further develop their interest in Asian culture and language by touring Malaysia with their teacher.

In Year 9 and 10 our students are also given the opportunity to be involved in the very popular Sports Tour of New Zealand where the students engage in a comprehensive sporting program with other schools as well as having the chance to participate in cultural activities.

The Advance Youth class at Year 9, with its emphasis on community service and leadership incorporates a trip to Indonesia to work with an orphanage as part of the Heathmont College Outreach program.
