Senior School consists of Years 10, 11 and 12.

Our Senior School places great emphasis on students having a positive attitude to every aspect of school life and on becoming independent, self directed learners. Our VCE Centre creates an adult learning environment that allows for excellent collaboration between students and staff. This includes an ICT-rich Year 12 Study Centre that is readily accessible during school and after school hours.

Students in Year 10 enjoy the opportunities of acceleration in a range of VCE and VET studies that enable them to maximise their post-school options. Students are able to choose units of study that more appropriately suit their individual needs and begin their future through our Managed Individual Pathways Program.

In Years 11 and 12 our students select their studies after an extensive counselling process that examines their academic ability, aptitude, interests and intended career directions. We provide opportunities to undertake a range of subjects for VCE and where appropriate, University Enhancement Studies. Heathmont College also offers a VCAL program for students interested in vocational pathways. Students’ post-school pathways include university, TAFE, traineeships and apprenticeships. Through our Learning Group Program every student is mentored and encouraged to set and achieve individual goals.
