Values & Purpose
Our values as a community provide us with a framework to plan and institute school improvement.
Values
The values which form the basis of the actions of the whole school community are:

- Persistence to overcome all that is before us as well as the resilience to bounce back from short term adversity
- Being Individually & Collectively Responsible for making a difference in our lives

- Collaboration and Teamwork in recognition that learning together enables us to achieve the best outcomes for all

- Trust in oneself and one another, and honesty to maintain open communication at all times
- Respect for each other and our environment, and recognising and celebrating the diversity amongst us
- The standards set by teachers for students are in ways that promote a community acceptance of being your best.
Purpose
To enable our students to be powerful learners who achieve to the best of their abilities in a mutually respectful, positive, relationship oriented environment.
It is our intention as a whole school community that:
- all students become independent, reflective, global learners and are striving to improve in learning and achieve their best
- we develop and sustain respectful relationships with and between students as they are actively engaged in purposeful learning
- we develop and sustain practices that actively promote a strong sense of teamwork, increasing capacity for collaboration, and enable our students to be have positive self-esteem, and be resilient people.
