Transition from Primary to Secondary Education can sometimes be a daunting experience for both families and the respective students. Here at Heathmont College we encourage families to take part in many College activities in the years leading up to this transition to enable the journey to be as smooth and seamless as possible.

Attached is the Eastern Metropolitan timeline and information about the processes for enrolling your child into a DEECD Secondary College. If you have any queries regarding your child’s placement please direct them to your Primary School.
Heathmont College Open Night
On Monday 4 May, Heathmont College hosted its Annual College Open Night. Under the coordination of Alison Richards, Transition Coordinator, students participated in performing, speaking, leading College tours, and helping out in classroom activities. With 15 faculties showing different facets of the College curriculum, the evening was deemed a great success with hundreds of families and friends from the Community enjoying their time here. A special thanks to the staff and students who contributed to this night, we appreciate all that you have done.
College Tours
Heathmont College tours operate on a weekly basis for Term 2 & 3 in 2009. These tours run for roughtly 45 minutes and are open to the whole family to attend. Bookings for these tours are essential as we like to keep our groups small so you have an opportunity to ask questions along the way.
