The Year 12 Retreat is designed to hel p students connect as a cohort\, prepare for their final year\, and engage in wellbeing and career-focused activities. Over three days\, students wi ll take part in workshops\, outdoor challenges\, and reflective sessions r un by both school staff and external providers.
\nThe camp will be be held at Camp Ara luen (Anglesea) provides an opportunity for students to spend time in the natural environment\, sleeping in dormitories and combining on-site activi ties and off-site activities for four nights. Student’s will be completing group activities to build belonging and teamwork\, and participating in a range of activities including Surfing and Stand up paddleboarding.
\nCoaches will pro vide travel to and from the camp\, and additional cars will be present\, d riven by teachers\, for transportation in the case of extenuating circumst ances and only with full permission of parents/guardians.

ill then catch a train from Heathmont Station to Ringwood Station before c
ompleting a series of tasks in and around Ringwood (including Eastland).\n \nThis will s upport students in their understanding of the skills required on these exc ursions for future trips into the city. These skills include things like t eamwork\, cooperative decision making\, use of Google maps\, safety in pub lic areas and many others. Also\, students will learn about their local en vironment\, both man made and natural\, and investigate the culture of the area. | \n
