 ty to eat morning tea after each golf lesson and lunch will take place at

  by the Department of Education and must be completed prior to any swimmin

 \n\n\nStudents will be meeting at the stadium at the beginning of P3 and w
 ill walk as a group to Aquanation. Students will be dismissed from Aquanat

  bottle\, snacks and lunch for the day. Students will have the opportunity
  to purchase food at the Aquanation cafe if they wish. Classes have not be

DESCRIPTION:All Year 10 students completing the Core Humanities subject thi
 s semester will participate in a whole-day Geography fieldtrip to Half Moo
 n Beach (at Cape Schanck) and Middle Brighton Beach to gather fieldwork da
 ta for their Coasts unit. The Common Assessment Task for this unit will be
  a fieldwork report that will be completed using the data students collect
  on this day.\nThe ability to collect data on the day of the fieldtrip is 
 one of the key skills assessed in this unit.\nStudents will travel by char
 tered coach from Heathmont College and will be accompanied by staff at all
  times. Students must bring with them a hat\, sunscreen and sunglasses for
  sun protection. Students must also bring a clip board\, pencil case with 
 pens and grey led pencils and a drink bottle.  Students will be required t
 o use their mobile phone\, or a digital camera\, to take photos of geograp
 hical features as part of the field data collection. Students are highly e
 ncouraged to bring their own prepared lunch and snacks. There is a kiosk a
 t the Brighton Beach site but school staff cannot guarantee that it will b

 re Humanities subject this semester will participate in a whole-day Geogra
 phy fieldtrip to Half Moon Beach (at Cape Schanck) and Middle Brighton Bea
 ch to gather fieldwork data for their Coasts unit. <strong>The Common Asse
 ssment Task for this unit will be a fieldwork report that will be complete
 d using the data students collect on this day.</strong></span></p>\n<p><sp
 an style='font-size: 18px\; color: #000000\;'>The ability to collect data 
 on the day of the fieldtrip is one of the key skills assessed in this unit
 .</span></p>\n<p><span style='font-size: 18px\; color: #000000\;'>Students
  will travel by chartered coach from Heathmont College and will be accompa
 nied by staff at all times. Students must bring with them a hat\, sunscree
 n and sunglasses for sun protection. Students must also bring a clip board
 \, pencil case with pens and grey led pencils and a drink bottle.  Student
 s will be required to use their mobile phone\, or a digital camera\, to ta
 ke photos of geographical features as part of the field data collection. S
 tudents are highly encouraged to bring their own prepared lunch and snacks
 . There is a kiosk at the Brighton Beach site but school staff cannot guar
 antee that it will be open\, or that the food will be affordable. Students
  will arrive back at school by bus at approximately 3pm for dismissal. Stu
 dents will not be permitted to swim or wade in the water on this field tri
