We are pleased to inform the school community that Heathmont College has been selected to take part in the DigiTech Start-up initiative.
The DigiTech Start-up initiative aims to support the implementation of the Digital Technologies Curriculum and to prepare students for the next generation of jobs.
The initiative will allow our school to purchase robotics and other digital equipment of up to $10,000. This funding will be used across all year levels and will provide the latest equipment for a number of subjects.
Students will be able to learn with new technology and build their skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
The initiative is delivered in partnership with Digital Learning and Teaching Victoria, who will also provide professional development to teachers to build their STEM programs.
