Girl Guides Victoria (GGV) offers a space for each and every girl to develop their fullest potential. Girl Guides provides a participant responsive experience which fosters key life and learning skills. Research has demonstrated that girls are especially vulnerable to marginalisation and the concerning impact that this has on aspiration, sense of belonging and place in the world. GGV has identified that some girls experience greater barriers and disadvantage to fulfilling their potential in life and study. By participating in the Thriving Girls Program we hope to reduce many of the barriers our Year 9 girls may face. |
