Young Change Agents’ Impact Boss is a two-day, hands-on entrepreneurship and social enterprise program for students in Years 8–11.
Working in small teams, students will identify a real issue or opportunity within their community and develop an innovative social enterprise idea in response. Across the two days, students will use design thinking, problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills to investigate their chosen issue, develop and test ideas, create a prototype and prepare a pitch.
The program is designed to develop students’ creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, problem solving and leadership skills through an authentic real-world challenge.
The program concludes with teams presenting their social enterprise ideas in a final pitch to judges.
