Dear parents, carers and families,
As we head towards the end of year and our academic programming draws to a close, there are some changes to how the college will operate for students in years 7 – 9.
Formal classes will conclude on Monday the 8th of December with reports published on Monday the 15th of December. After the celebration excursions occurring on Tuesday the 9th of December, there will be no scheduled academic classes. There will, however, be an end of year program running from Wednesday the 10th of December – Thursday 18th of December. Students attending during this time will engage in a variety of activities from yard clean up and environmental duty, to arts and crafts, sports, movies or board games in the library. In addition to this, we will offer sessions on NAPLAN preparation and literacy and numeracy development. Next week, we will be publishing events on Compass for each day’s attendance. If your child is attending, we ask that you provide consent for the day on these events so that we know who to expect and can plan accordingly. The canteen during this time, will open the following days and times:
Monday 8/12/25 – 8am-2:30pm
Tuesday 9/12/25 – 8am-2:30pm
Wednesday 10/12/25 – 8am-12pm for coffee and breakfast
Thursday 11/12/25 – CLOSED, which means that students will be required to bring a packed lunch.
Friday 12/12/25 – LUNCH
ONLY 1:20-2pm
The following week 14th-19th at this stage we are unsure if the Canteen will be open, therefore it is best if students bring a packed lunch.
