On Friday 5 June during lunchtime the Monash House Captains will be running a FightMND fundraiser. The fundraiser is raising money for the FightMND Foundation, established by the late Neale Daniher in support of the fight against Motor Neurone Disease. In light of Neale Daniher’s passing this week, the timing of this fundraiser feels especially meaningful as we come together to honour his incredible legacy and continue supporting the important work of FightMND.
There will be plenty happening on the day, including:
- An out of uniform day for students
- A sausage sizzle at lunch
- A raffle with some great prizes – tickets for sale across next week.
- And the highlight of the day… the Ice Bucket Challenge!
Some of our staff have volunteered to have a bucket of icy water poured over them in front of a very excited crowd, being dunked by the highest bidder.
