Enthusiastic and talented Geography (Humanities) students in all year levels 7-12 are invited to challenge themselves and participate in this optional competition – the 2026 Australian Geography Competition. Students will practice their geographical skills by completing multiple-choice and cloze questions in an online test for 30 minutes in May. Year 7 and 8 students complete 30 questions; Year 9-12 students complete 40 questions. All participating students will receive a certificate and results sheet. All students who participate are eligible to win prizes. The competition will cost $5 per student to compete; all students competing will require a working laptop with internet access to participate. Students will be withdrawn from a class to participate in this competition. Mrs Graham, the Humanities Curriculum Area Leader, will supervise the students participating in the competition.
