Facilitated by knowledgeable road safety educators, excursions to Road to Zero comprise two parts: Experience Space – An exploratory exhibition of 13 immersive experiences that engage students with critical road safety themes. Learning Studio – In the purpose-built learning hub, students create a public health campaign video. They then apply their learning to a team-based challenge using touch table technology. Please note, students will not have access to the main exhibits at the Melbourne Museum during this excursion |
Students need to meet at Heathmont Station by 8:35am (to catch an 8:51am train). Students will be dismissed when the train arrives at Ringwood Station (scheduled to arrive at 3:01pm). Students will need a Youth Myki card to use public transport. Students must tap on/off and students seen incorrectly using public transport will likely be banned from future city excursions. Students will have the opportunity to purchase food/drink (with their own money) during this excursion. |
