This program aims to develop a greater understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and practices through plants. Students will learn about unique plant usage and some of the sustainable land practices used by First Peoples across Australia. Following our time at the Melbourne Skydeck, students will have some self directed time where they will be required to stay in small groups and can experience aspects of the City of Melbourne. Students will be able to communicate with staff via mobile phone during this section of the excursion. |
Students will have limited access to food outlets earlier in the day but will have the ability to buy food later in the day if they choose to. Students should bring a drink bottle with them. Students MUST have a valid Myki card and MUST touch on/touch off to catch public transport. If students are seen not using public transport correctly, they may be banned from future excursions. Students will be dismissed when the train arrives at Ringwood Station (scheduled to arrive at 3:01pm). |
