As part of our Languages program, we are committed to providing language and cultural experiences through a range of activities. Students have been learning about Indonesian traditional food, description of food and dining etiquette. To reinforce their learning, students are invited to participate in an Indonesian lunch, sampling traditional dishes and be entertained by Indonesian songs. This luncheon will provide students with an authentic experience to taste the different Indonesian food and also use the language learnt to describe them. At the restaurant, students will use Indonesian to order food and describe the taste and smell of the dishes. If you wish your child to participate in this event, please provide consent and make payment on Compass. As places are limited, please ensure prompt payment to secure a place. |
