Students will take part in a Golf session at Heathmont Golf Park. The purpose of this excursion is to practically analyse the activity and to determine the fitness components associated with Golf. Moreover, this excursion will allow students to collect biomechanical data to develop their knowledge of topics such as; force, angular motion, projectile motion, levers, summation of momentum and newtons laws of motion. Students will meet at the Sports centre at 11 am where rolls will be marked, we will then ride the school provided bikes to Morack Driving Range. Students will spend 1 hour at the driving range practicing the movements and completing a booklet of Biomechanics and will then return back to Heathmont College via the Dandenong Creek Trail on bikes arriving back to school at lunch time. Students will be out of the college during the double Body movement class and this will not impact on any other subjects. Students have been asked to wear the Heathmont College Sports uniform and have been asked to bring with them snacks and water for the day as there are no opportunities to purchase food or drink. |
