A huge thank you to all Year 10 students who have submitted their Work Experience intentions via the Google Form.
For those who have completed the Work Experience Notification Form on Compass, you should have received an email from the Work-Based Learning Portal. Please follow the instructions in the email to complete the process. Additionally, ensure your employer is aware that they will receive an email requiring their action.
If you have not yet completed the form, you will now receive an email from the Work-Based Learning Portal. Please attend to this as soon as you have secured an employer. You will need access to your @schools email account to proceed.
** Please note the applications are only valid for 30days, if not completed by all parties in this time we have to start the process again. **
Please also ensure you have completed the following Safe@Work certificates:
- General Certificate
- Industry-Specific Certificate
The Work Experience dates are Monday 22 June to Friday 26 June 2026.
As part of the Year 10 Careers curriculum, all students are required to undertake a short Work Experience placement at the end
of Term 2. This is a valuable opportunity to explore potential career pathways
and gain insight into the world of work.
Students may complete their placement in a wide range of industries, including business, arts and design, trades, retail, health, and medicine. Please note that there are some prohibited industries, as
determined by the Department of Education, where Work Experience placements are not permitted due to safety considerations.
