    Year 9Life Active Lifestyles (Golf) @ Trawalla Rd, Croydon VIC 3136

    Year 9’s will combine sports biomechanics, coaching whilst engaging in team building with a new experience incorporating healthy living with a combination of lessons and FUN playing rounds of golf at Dorset Golf Course. As part of our Active Lifestyle program year 9 students will enjoy lessons at a driving range and many rounds of golf. Students will be provided all equipment upon arrival (If students have their own golf equipment, they will bring it to each session). A safety demonstration will also be run by Dorset Golf Professional staff and Heathmont College staff will be monitoring safety throughout each day. Students will have an opportunity to eat morning tea after each golf lesson and lunch will take place at the end of each golf round.

    Students are required to arrive at Heathmont College at 8.30am every morning. Students will be driven to and from Dorset Golf Course every session.  Wednesdays 4th, 11th, 18th Feb, 4th, 11th, 18th March, 22nd, 29th April, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th May, 3rd, 17th, 24th June. Students will be dismissed from Heathmont College at 3.00pm.

    All Year 8 students will have an immersive experience in our Medieval Day run by external expert presenters. This incursion directly relates to the Year 8 Humanities curriculum of Medieval Europe and the Black Death.

    Students will rotate through 4 sessions which include the following: 
    -Crime & Punishment
    -Games & Dance
    -Weapons & Armour
    -Tournament
