Additional event details: Students will travel by bus to the venue. Students are advised to bring lunch and drinks as there is no guarantee that canteen facilities will be available on the day. This year, every Monday lunch time in the wellbeing lounge will be Mindfulness Mondays. This is a chance for students to unwind quietly with colouring, drawing and puzzles. The last ten minutes will include a mindfulness meditation to help reset before class.

Rainbows club is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ students to connect with peers and like-minded people. It is also a chance to find out about any relevant community events and resources.

Our school will be conducting an off-site evacuation drill on Thursday, 18th September as part of our commitment to ensuring the safety and preparedness of our students and staff. This practice drill is an important part of our emergency management procedures and will involve all students and staff relocating to our designated evacuation site (Heathmont Reserve). We are required to complete this drill with Marlborough Primary School. Please note that this is only a practice drill and more information will be given about how we all get safely to Heathmont Reserve. We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a safe and prepared school community.
We’re excited to announce a whole-school event to end Term 3 – the Heathmont College Walk-a-thon and Colour Run: Colour the Conversation. This fun-filled fundraiser will take place on the last day of Term 3 during Period 4 and 5 (finishing approx. 2:30 pm).
All money raised will support Speak and Share, a youth-focused organisation that delivers engaging mental health education to young people. Funds will go directly towards subsidising their People Before Students program for Years 8–12 students in 2026. This initiative aims to normalise conversations around mental health, encourage peer support, and strengthen our school’s wellbeing culture.
Event Details
- When: Last day of Term 3, Period 4 onwards
- What to bring: A white T-shirt and old shorts/shoes (dye may stain)
- Cost includes: Entry to both the Walk-a-thon and Colour Run, plus a donation to support the programs
On the Day
- Out of Uniform Day: Gold coin donation (Period 1)
- Sausage Sizzle
- Raffle: tickets available throughout Term 3 – prize is a Speak and Share merchandise pack

- Dye used in the Colour Run may stain clothing
