Year 12 students are going to take part in a conservational activity along the Dandenong Creek Trail and Scott Street Reserve. This will include a short presentation from Rohen at Maroondah City Council as the Bushland Revegetation and Community Supervisor. This activity falls in line with Unit 3, area of study 2 where students learn about conservation in the outdoors. This local excursion will allow students to collect primary data for their upcoming written report SAC.
This is to begin during lunchtime and into our P5 class. It will not impact on any other classes.
This year, every Monday lunch time in the wellbeing lounge will be Mindfulness Mondays. This is a chance for students to unwind quietly with colouring, drawing and puzzles. The last ten minutes will include a mindfulness meditation to help reset before class.
If you are looking for a quiet place on a Monday lunchtime, join us in the Wellbeing lounge for Mindfulness Mondays.
