Description/ Educative Purpose:
As part of our annual Indonesian Cultural day celebrations, Heathmont College Indonesian students are invited to assist with the running and coordination of this cultural event, held at Heathmont College, on Monday 22nd April 2024. There will be about 130 Grade 6 students from the local primary schools taking part in this event. Schools invited to attend are Marlborough PS, Bayswater North PS, Great Ryrie PS, The Basin PS, Heathmont East PS, Boronia Heights PS and Bayswater PS. In relation to this, your child has been selected as a student leader to assist with the teaching of Indonesian language, songs, dances, masks making and martial arts. Students will attend a few lunchtime training sessions with Bu Devathas to prepare as leaders to run the cultural sessions. Please provide consent on Compass if you wish your child to participate as student leaders.
